WHO WE ARE
Founded in 1997, Bindner Academy established the first Jiu-jitsu school in London, Ontario, and is the region's premier martial arts training community, led by it’s founder Derek Bindner. We teach Fusion Jiu-jitsu with a high level Brazilian Jiu-jitsu basics program.

To use the martial art of Jiu-jitsu as a positive influence in every student's life, enhancing confidence, personal safety and strength of mind, body and spirit.​​

To teach high quality Jiu-jitsu to all students in a safe, clean and welcoming environment, while treating everyone with the utmost respect by being kind, respectful and friendly.

We believe in people, we value people, and know that life favours the prepared in mind, body and spirit. Unfortunately, there are no referees in the real world, and when moments matter, you may be on your own.
HOW WE DO IT
We deliver a well-rounded martial arts education using a highly structured, comprehensive, and separately designed curriculum for kids and adults, taking them from beginner white belt to black belt and beyond. When we teach, we want every class to reflect our best selves. We treat every class like it is the most important lesson we will ever teach.

We offer private lessons, consultations, group classes, presentations, retreats and seminars, both online, and in-person, during the daytime, evenings, and weekends, anywhere around the world.
