Today, taking time out for activities outside of work and family can be difficult, even though it is something that is important for your physical and mental well-being. For those who are willing to take the steps towards self improvement and enhanced fitness, Bindner Academy offers Jiu-jitsu classes for adults ages 18 and up.

There are several reasons why adults would want to join a local martial arts class. It can be to learn self defense or get physically fit and healthy. Whatever your reasons, at Bindner Academy we address all these aspects and more. When you step outside of our dojo, you leave with the satisfaction that you have benefited both mentally and physically from our martial arts classes.

INNOVATIVE TRAINING
Bindner Academy offers adult classes for a full spectrum martial arts experience. Our owner and lead instructor, Derek Bindner has competed in, and holds black belts in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Japanese Ju-jitsu, Yoshinkan Aikido, Goju Ryu Karate and Tae Kwon Do. He brings a wealth of real-world knowledge and evaluated experiences from his former employment as an executive/close protection specialist, and door person for 12 years.

Mondays
7:30-8:30pm Street Fusion No-Gi
8:30-9:00pm Mechanics/Sparring LAB (Gi & No-Gi): a focused study of body-mechanics, efficient movement and bio-mechanics with freestyle sparring.

8-9:00pm Sport Brazilian Gi
​9-9:30pm Sparring LAB (Gi & No-Gi): a freestyle grappling class that allows students to test their knowledge, skills and abilities against a resisting opponent.

I hold Warriorfit and Sensei Derek Bindner responsible for putting me on a better path in life that I am still on today.
